“I knew at age 9 that I wanted to be a dancer. At age 12, I saw my first Broadway tour production of “42nd Street”. It was then I knew… musical theatre was my calling.”

Julianne has been seen in over 40 productions regionally and nationally and has been a dance and theatre educator and choreographer for over 30 years. She has been seen in productions with The Children’s Theatre Company, Ruby’s Cabaret, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Ordway Center, Disney Productions LLC , Buffalo Gal Productions, The Flying Foot Forum and numerous live industrials locally and nationally. She has been member of the professional Actors Equity union for 25 years.

Julianne loves to create, inspire and “give back” all she has learned from the numerous amazing mentors in her life.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Julianne’s training has spanned from suburban dance studios, competitive dance, community theatres, summer school drama programs, then to her professional career starting with the Children’s Theatre Company. She has trained in her field in Chicago, New York City and Las Vegas. She notably gained her training from Gus Girodano (jazz), Sherry Hjelvik (tap), the late George Bonnarens, Lirena Branitski(ballet) and Doug Caldwell(jazz). Myron Johnson, Artistic Director of Ballet of The Dolls(ballet & jazz) and numerous others in and from New York City, Las Vegas and LA.

As a union professional for 27 years, Julianne has been seen on stages locally and nationally. The Flying Foot Forum at the Guthrie, The Ordway Center, Buffalo Gal Productions at the former Loring Playhouse. Productions with the former Ruby’s Cabaret, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Disney Productions at the Chicago Theatre, NYC, and Atlanta, GA. ICE Productions in Las Vegas & San Francisco. Numerous live industrials & corporate events throughout the country.

Julianne has been a dance educator for over 30 years. Suburban metro dance studios, in downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, and over 60 high school and community and regional theatre musical productions, dance concert pieces, show choir productions and recognition award shows: Spotlight and The Ivey Awards.

“I’ve always known what my calling was, Musical Theatre! Dance, sing, act, choreography, teach and CREATE. I love to pass on what I’ve learned from watching the classics, the legends!

I LOVE passing on what I’ve learned from the numerous mentors I have had the opportunity to train with, exploring new styles and incorporating them into “my style”.
